Law Society House

The works included the demolition of existing building and redevelopment of site to provide a five storey office and retail accommodation block, complete with basement car parking on a city centre site. The floor plates were arranged around a narrow entrance atrium, with asymmetric wings of accommodation either sire, to facilitate a range of letting options. The structural frame is a combination of insitu concrete and a structural steel frame penthouse. The works included high specification fit out of three floors for the Law Society which included carved masonry reception desks, plasma screens, glazed screens extensive use of hardwoods to joinery items and marble floors.

In more recent years we carried out the refurbishment & fit-out works to the second and third floors to provide modern office accommodation for Royal Sun Alliance Insurance. The works were completed within an occupied building including revised partition layouts, new kitchens, open plan offices, meeting and conference rooms, complete redecoration and new mechanical and electrical service installations. We collaboratively worked with the other companies occupying the building on adjacent floors, providing access control at the two entrances including master locks, keypads and swipe card access.
